Officer Training-June 8-10 at the 4-H Center in Little Rock
The state and district officer training will be combined again this year and will be held Sunday through Tuesday, June 8-10, 2014, at the 4-H Center in Little Rock. This is a required meeting for all state/district officers and their advisers. An agenda is attached. You should plan to arrive between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. District meetings and state officer meetings will begin at 2:00 p.m. We are on a very tight schedule for this training, so please adhere to this timeframe. Dinner will be served that evening. Lodge rooms will be assigned. Meals will be included each day.
Cost for district officers and advisers will be $180.00 for two nights and $100 for one night which includes the housing and the meals. Contact your district coordinators for information to see if they will cover expenses. Registration form is attached.
We are also including the Mid-Level district officers again this year. Mid-Level Coordinators will again meet during this time, agenda has meeting times. Mid-Level District coordinators adviser costs will be reimbursed to the senior account from the state mid-level accounts.
The state is paying for lodging meals for state officers, state officer advisers, and district coordinators. All participants are responsible for their transportation costs. Space is limited and we will accommodate state, district, and mid-level officers first. If space is available local officers may attend. A waiting list will be maintained for local officers and attendance will be assigned on first registration received basis. If local officers are attending they should register through their district coordinator.
Dress for the training is casual—this is a working meeting. State officers please bring your FBLA blazers, khaki skirt/slacks and white shirt/blouse. You will receive your tie or scarf at the meeting. We will take a group picture during the training session.
State officer advisers, please bring your national and state handbooks with you to the meeting. You and your officers will need these handbooks during the sessions.
Advisers, please have your officer(s) complete the attached medical authorization form and permission slip. These must be submitted upon arrival at the training.
We have a lot of information and activities packed into a little time so come rested and be ready to work. We look forward to seeing all of you on June 8.
